Room Service covers everything that happens to a room between guests: cleaning, restocking, and fixing what breaks. It is the section housekeeping and maintenance staff live in day-to-day.
1. Housekeeping Calendar
A day-by-day view of which rooms need cleaning based on checkouts, stay-overs and scheduled deep cleans. Use it to plan staff assignments ahead of a busy checkout day rather than reacting room by room.

2. Housekeeping Tracker
The live, real-time board of today's cleaning work:
- Rooms automatically appear here as "needs cleaning" the moment a guest checks out.
- Assign a room to a housekeeper, and update its status as work progresses: pending → in progress → clean → inspected.
- Rooms marked clean and inspected flip back to available and can be booked or checked into immediately.
3. Housekeeping Control
This is the configuration side of housekeeping — set cleaning standards, checklists, and default turnaround expectations (e.g. how long a standard clean should take), plus manage which staff are available for housekeeping assignments. Use it to standardize what "clean" means across your whole team.
4. Linen and Supplies Tracker
Tracks consumable stock used during cleaning — sheets, towels, toiletries, cleaning chemicals — separately from any hotel business's inventory.
- Add supply items with a name, unit, and current quantity on hand.
- Log usage as housekeeping consumes stock, and log restocks when new supplies arrive.
- Set a low-stock threshold so items needing reorder are flagged before they run out entirely.
5. Maintenance Tracker
Anything broken or in need of repair is logged here rather than relying on someone remembering to mention it:
- Click New Issue, pick the affected room (or a common area), and describe the problem.
- Set a priority (low/medium/high/urgent) — urgent issues typically also take the room out of bookable inventory until resolved.
- Assign the issue to a maintenance staff member, and track it through open → in progress → resolved.
- Once resolved, the room automatically becomes bookable again if it had been blocked.
